Audit prices cover a typical small public body’s site: key templates, tasks and a sample of documents. Larger sites get a written quote. You always get a flat written quote before any work starts.
What you get from an audit
- Scope statement: the pages, tasks and documents tested, and the standard used.
- Findings list: each issue tied to a WCAG success criterion, with where it is, how serious it is, who owns the fix (you, your web vendor or another provider) and how to fix it.
- Board memo: one page in plain English with the bottom line and recommended next steps.
- Readiness plan: a dated, prioritized plan aimed at your compliance date.
- Vendor letters: ready-to-send letters asking your platform vendors to fix the issues they own.
- Evaluation summary: a dated conformance report you can keep on file. It documents results; it is not a legal certification.
Who it’s for
Texas cities, counties, special districts (water, utility, MUD, fire, emergency services and hospital districts), school districts and libraries working toward the ADA Title II web rule. State agencies and public universities working under Texas Administrative Code chapters 206 and 213 can ask for a quote too.
Turnaround and payment
- Written quote: usually within one business day.
- Audit delivery: usually within 10 business days after kickoff.
- Purchase orders accepted. Audits are invoiced on delivery, payable net 30, in line with the Texas Prompt Payment Act. Monthly plans are invoiced monthly, net 30.
Larger national firms commonly charge several thousand dollars or more for a comparable audit. These prices are set for public bodies with small budgets.
